VALUES
Our values emerge from our Christian belief and mandate from God.
Love of God: with all heart, mind soul and strength and love of neighbour as oneself
Dignity of the Person: created in the image and likeness of God
Sacredness of the human body: created for God's in-dwelling presence
The eternal destiny of the soul is the priority in the care of the total person.
Suffering is no longer a mystery, since Our Divine Saviour redeemed the world by His suffering and death on the Cross.
The merits of suffering are salvific, expiatory, reparatory, redemptive and sanctifying. The Cross of Christ points to happiness through suffering.
Prayer is central and primary in importance in our communion with God and one another.
To be graced with the privilege of caregiving carries with it great responsibility. Faithful discharge of this trust will bring glorious reward. Most weighty will be the judgement for fault or failure. (+ J. McGuigan, Archbishop of Toronto, 1941)
MISSION STATEMENT
"STAND YE ON THE WAYS, AND SEE, AND ASK FOR THE OLD PATHS, WHICH IS THE GOOD WAY, AND WALK YE IN IT, AND YE SHALL FIND REFRESHMENT FOR YOUR SOULS." (Jer. 6,16)

"It is in Christ that we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17,28)

Prayer in Honour of St. Photina
By the well of Jacob, O holy one
thou didst find the Water
of eternal and blessed life;
and having partaken
thereof, O wise Photina
thou wentest forth proclaiming Christ,
the Anointed One.
